Being a UK College of Engineering student, I've gotten valuable experience over the last couple of years. And while a lot about my future is uncertain, one thing I'm not worried about is my financial future, because being a UK College of Engineering student and having that UK degree has been extremely valuable and gives me a competitive salary.

I was pretty fortunate this last semester. I was able to get a job with GE General Electric Aviation, and I think that the education I had really set me apart other peers who were also applying for the same position.

The Career Services office of the College of Engineering will do whatever they can to help you get that internship, or co-op, or eventually that first engineering job.

I have been there at least 20, 30 times talking about résumé critique, interviewing skills, cover letter critique, job opportunities. They're there for you 24/7. You can call them, you can text them, you can email them.

As well as they host not only just a career fair every semester but they also do a co-op and internship fair every semester, which provides great opportunities to meet employers and hopefully land a job.
